Intense pulsed light therapy (IPL) is a concentrated treatment, to target specific concerns such as sun damage, pigmentation, facial blood vessels, Acne and overall rejuvenation. It uses light energy to target colour within the skin and enhance its appearance.  During an IPL consultation, your therapist will explain the depth of the treatment and tailor it to suit your needs. Due to the caliber of this Stella M22 device, a patch test and treatment may be carried out on day of consultation.

IPL is what we like to call, a hot treatment, meaning it is only for those who are avid sunscreen users, specifically 3 weeks either side of treating. Most clients will need 3-4 treatments, 4 weekly, for optimum results. With Stella M22 we are able to treat all year round if you fit treatment guidelines. i.e. avid sunscreen wearer and predominantly work inside. Afterwards, your skin may feel slightly warm and appear discoloured where pigment has been targeted. This will ease and the discolouration will flake off over 5-10 days, revealing your rejuvenated more even complexion.
