Dysport®
(Botulinum Toxin Type A)

Dysport® is a type of botulinum toxin injection and is very similar to Botox®. The differences lie in the potency of trace proteins, which can make one more effective than the other. At Skindeep Clinic we have found that Dysport® produces superior results and therefore we prefer to use Dysport® as our botulinum toxin.

FAQs

  • Dysport® is an injectable treatment that contains botulinum toxin type A, a purified protein that temporarily relaxes targeted muscles. By reducing muscle activity, Dysport helps smooth the appearance of lines and wrinkles caused by repeated facial movements, such as frowning, squinting, or raising the eyebrows.

  • When Dysport is injected into specific muscles, it blocks the nerve signals that cause those muscles to contract. This relaxation effect reduces the appearance of wrinkles and creates a softer, refreshed look.
